Analysis: The principles of Path-Goal theory are very much aligned to Agile and Servant Leadership. The objective of Servant Leadership to clear obstacles and focus on enabling your subordinates to achieve their goals. While Supportive Leadership and Servant Leadership may have nuanced differences, they both look to nurture their followers. Servant Leadership is a key characteristic of Agile since clearing obstacles is critical to achieving sprint goals and sustaining / improving velocity.
